Comienza el recorrido por tren durante 30min, (símbolo de la herencia bananera de la zona) hasta llegar a Salado Barra. Además de recorrer los canales de manglares en un bote acompañados por guías locales, donde podrás apreciar monos, aves y especies como caimanes, tortugas o, si tienes mucha suerte, el tímido manatí, también compartirás con señoras de la comunidad y conocer un poco de la vida local y su gastronomía, degustando un bocadillo local o una canasta de galletas horneadas en leña.  The journey starts off with a 30 min ride by train (symbol of the area’s banana heritage) until you get to Salado Barra. In addition to touring mangrove canals in a boat accompanied by local guides, where you can appreciate monkeys, birds and species such as caimans, turtles or, if you are lucky, the timid manatee, you will also share experiences with ladies from the community and get to know a bit about the local life and its gastronomy, tasting a local snacks or a basket of baked cookies in firewood.
